Middle School Cityscapes

8th Grade Students at both Riley and Baldwin Street have been studying why artists choose to create what they do.  We have just finished studying Aesthetic View Points - Subject: working realistically, Composition: focusing on the Elements and Principles of Art or Content: what the artist's message is. Students chose one view point to address in their finished drawing.  Students then researched visuals and chose a cityscape they wanted to work with; they also chose the medium they thought would work best for their final artwork
